No. Slidesy runs anonymously on first launch — no email, no password, no social login. We assign your installation an anonymous identifier so your decks stay tied to your device, but there is no traditional account.

Reinstalling on the same device usually restores your library because the anonymous identifier persists in iOS keychain. If your decks don't return after reinstall, email us and we can investigate by your installation ID (visible in Profile → Settings → tap version number five times).

One clear sentence about your topic plus, optionally, your audience. Examples:

• "Customer onboarding strategy for a B2B SaaS"
• "Series A pitch for a climate-tech startup"
• "Class lecture on cellular respiration for high-school biology"
• "Quarterly business review — Q3 marketing performance"

Slidesy uses your sentence to research the topic, draft the outline, and design layouts. You can then edit any slide or regenerate the ones you don't love.

Most decks generate in 25–45 seconds depending on slide count, language, and current load. Image-heavy decks and longer slide counts can take up to 90 seconds. Pro accounts get priority queue.

Generation works in 19 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil + Portugal), Dutch, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Turkish, Hindi, Polish, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, and Finnish.

App interface is currently localized to English, Turkish, Brazilian Portuguese, European Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian, and Simplified Chinese. iPhone language settings determine which one you see.

Yes. Tap any slide to open the editor. Edit the title, body text, and speaker notes directly. To rebuild a slide entirely, use the Regenerate slide button — Slidesy keeps your title intact and rewrites the supporting copy.

Open a deck → tap the export icon (top right) → choose PowerPoint (.pptx), PDF, or PNG images. The file is generated in seconds and offered to iOS's share sheet — save to Files, send to Slack/email, AirDrop, etc.

Yes. From any deck, tap Share → Share link. We generate a public URL on slidesy.app you can send to anyone — they'll see the deck in their browser, no app install required.

All subscriptions are managed by Apple. To cancel:

• Open iPhone Settings
• Tap your name at the top
• Tap Subscriptions
• Tap Slidesy
• Tap Cancel Subscription

Your Pro access remains active until the end of the current billing period. We don't ask for a cancellation reason and we don't store payment info — it's handled entirely by Apple.

First, tap Restore Purchases on the paywall screen or in Profile → Settings. iOS will resync your subscription state. If that doesn't work, email us with your Apple receipt (Settings → name → Subscriptions → tap Slidesy → "Email Receipt") and we'll sort it within one business day.

Refunds are handled by Apple, not Slidesy. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the Slidesy charge, and request a refund. Apple typically responds within 24–48 hours.

We collect anonymous product analytics (which features get tapped, how many decks get generated) and crash diagnostics. Your prompts and generated decks are stored against your anonymous device identifier so you can return to them. We don't sell your data, we don't train third-party models on your content. The full breakdown is in our privacy policy.

Yes. To erase your local library: delete the app from your iPhone. To erase server-side data tied to your anonymous identifier: email us at the address below with the subject line "Delete my data" and we'll process the request within 30 days, per applicable privacy law.

• Force-quit Slidesy and reopen it
• Restart your iPhone
• Make sure iOS is up to date (Settings → General → Software Update)
• If the crash continues, email us with your iPhone model and iOS version

Slidesy needs a working internet connection to generate decks. Check your Wi-Fi/cellular, retry, and make sure VPN/proxy isn't blocking access to api.slidesy.app. If you're behind a corporate firewall, that domain should be allowlisted.

This is fixed in the latest version. Make sure you're on the most recent release (App Store → your profile → Slidesy → Update if available). If you still see blank slides after updating, email us with the deck name and the export format you used.
