Terms of Service
Effective May 13, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Slidesy ("we", "our", "us"). By installing or using the Slidesy mobile application or related services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the authority to accept these Terms.
2. Anonymous use
Slidesy does not require an account to use. On first launch we assign an anonymous identifier to your installation so your decks remain tied to your device. You are responsible for the content you submit through the Service and for the security of any device on which the Service is installed.
3. Subscriptions and payments
Slidesy offers paid subscription plans purchased through the Apple App Store. The price, renewal interval, and free trial (if any) are shown to you at the point of purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID, and renewal happens automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the next renewal in your Apple ID account settings.
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple in accordance with their policies. We do not process refunds directly.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of the prompts you submit and the decks you create. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit, render, and process your content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not claim authorship of your decks and we do not use your content to train third-party AI models.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any law or third-party right.
- Generate content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or that infringes the intellectual-property or privacy rights of others.
- Generate sexual content involving minors, content that promotes or instructs violence or self-harm, or content designed to harass a protected group.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service in ways that violate applicable law.
- Use automated means to access the Service in a manner that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
6. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers for hosting, AI inference, analytics, authentication, payment processing, and paywall presentation. Their availability and behavior is outside our direct control, and your use of those parts of the Service is also subject to their terms.
7. AI-generated content
Slidesy uses third-party large language models to generate slide content. The output may contain inaccuracies, may not be unique to you, and should be reviewed before relying on it for any consequential decision. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any content you publish or share.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or related to the Service. Our total liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we believe you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which our company is established, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
