Privacy Policy
Effective May 13, 2026
Slidesy ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use the Slidesy mobile application and related services (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
Anonymous installation identifier
Slidesy does not require sign-up or sign-in. On first launch we generate an anonymous Firebase user identifier that ties your decks to your installation. We do not collect your name, email, password, or any social-login identity unless you contact support and choose to share it.
Content you create
Prompts you submit, slide decks you generate, edits you make, and files you upload are processed in order to provide the Service. Your content is stored on our backend so you can return to it later. We do not sell your content or use it to train third-party models.
Usage and device data
We collect product analytics events (for example: app opened, deck generated, feature tapped) along with device-level metadata such as device model, OS version, and an anonymous installation identifier. We use this to understand how the Service is used and to improve it.
Subscription and purchase data
Subscription state (active, trial, expired) is processed via Apple App Store and our paywall provider. We do not see your full payment card details.
2. How we use your information
- To provide, maintain, and operate the Service.
- To generate, render, and translate slide decks based on prompts you submit.
- To debug issues, monitor reliability, and improve product performance.
- To communicate with you about the Service, including security or policy updates.
- To process subscriptions and prevent fraud.
3. Service providers
We share limited information with the following service providers, each of which acts on our behalf:
- Firebase (Google) — anonymous identity, push notifications, crash reporting.
- Cloudflare — content delivery, edge runtime, storage of generated assets.
- Anthropic / Replicate — large-language-model inference for prompt-to-slide generation and translation. Prompts and the resulting structured outputs are sent to these providers as needed to produce your decks.
- Amplitude — product analytics and funnel reporting.
- Superwall — paywall presentation and subscription state.
- Apple — App Store payments and subscription management.
We do not authorize these providers to use your data for their own marketing purposes.
4. Retention
We retain account and content data while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us. Once we delete your account, your decks and derived content are removed within 30 days, except where a longer retention period is required by law.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at the address in section 9.
6. Children
Slidesy is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, including TLS in transit and access controls at rest. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email where appropriate.
